Welcome to DT Counseling, Inc. Thank you for considering us as you make the courageous decision to pursue counseling. Similar to seeking medical treatment for problems with our physical health, we sometimes need clinical guidance and support for our mental and emotional struggles. Regardless of age, our life experiences significantly impact our physical, mental, and emotional well-being, influencing the way we view ourselves, other people, and the world around us. When these experiences are adverse or even traumatic, we can easily develop distorted and negative views of ourselves and others. We may also begin to manage our emotions in unhealthy ways and engage in self-destructive or other problematic behaviors that hurt our relationships.
"Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change."
At DT Counseling, Inc., we provide a comfortable, supportive environment where you begin to heal and create meaning from these psychological wounds, accepting them but no longer allowing them to define you. With up-to-date knowledge and years of experience, your counselor will collaborate with you to develop therapy goals and create a therapeutic environment that is tailored to you and your unique needs. We provide individual and family counseling to children, teens, and adults and treat a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, behavior/conduct problems, adjustment disorders, low self-esteem, and self-harm. We are honored to guide you in the powerful journey of healing and creating the life you deserve.
