Welcome!
Our mission is to help clients at any age gain a better understanding and acceptance of themselves and their internal experience, so they feel empowered to heal and grow from challenging, and sometimes traumatic, life experiences. We believe that these experiences can impact your physical, mental, and emotional well-being, influencing the way you view yourself, other people, and the world around you. We hope to guide you in uncovering your true self so you experience improved quality of life and greater authenticity in your relationships. We are dedicated to helping you regain a sense of confidence and peace within yourself so you can freely live and love with intention.

DT Counseling recognizes the strength and hard work that is required to address the parts of your life and yourself that you may try to ignore or forget but never really do, or can. We align with you to work through your struggles with grit but also model grace and patience when you get lost on this difficult journey. We believe that where you are and what you do now are a culmination of life experiences in which you did the best you could, always.
We cultivate a stance of curiosity and non-judgement that allows you to feel safe sharing all parts of yourself. At the same time, we acknowledge that we therapists are human too, and we all have biases, preconceived notions, and judgments that are influenced by our experiences in the world. We challenge ourselves to regularly self-reflect and have curiosity about our own beliefs and perspectives so that we can minimize their influence in our work with you.
We recognize that the client-therapist relationship is a unique one that greatly impacts therapy outcomes. We can easily laugh and share happiness with you while also confidently holding space for deep emotional pain. You will receive gentle but direct feedback from your therapist, sometimes feeling challenged but also prepared to address difficult issues. You will feel seen, heard, and accepted.
We offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling, providing services to children, teens and adults. We treat a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, self-harm, OCD, ADHD, and relationship problems. We are honored to guide you in the powerful journey of healing and creating the life you deserve.
