Marissa Marcelli

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, I bring a compassionate and holistic approach to mental health. With a background in outpatient and school-based settings, I have dedicated my career to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through their unique challenges, along with helping clients navigate the complexities of trauma and its impact on their lives. I have gotten to experience and work with clients with a variety of mental health conditions including trauma/PTSD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, life transitions, behavior concerns, and grief/loss.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s need, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I aim to create a safe and engaging environment for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe in the power of resilience and the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships. Every client’s journey is unique, and I strive to empower individuals to navigate their challenges and foster personal growth.

I believe in the importance of a collaborative approach, which includes actively involving parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process. By equipping families with tools and strategies, we can create a supportive home environment that fosters growth and resilience in children and adolescents.
